Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable.From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate.The Eurofins network of companies believes that it is a global leader in food, environment, pharmaceutical and cosmetic product testing and in discovery pharmacology, forensics, advanced material sciences and agroscience contract research services.It is also one of the market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics, and in the support of clinical studies, as well as in biopharma contract development and manufacturing.It also has a rapidly developing presence in highly specialised and molecular clinical diagnostic testing and in-vitro diagnostic products.The group's key figures are approximately: Turnover of 6.5 billion euros, more than 940 laboratories in 62 countries and around 62,000 employees.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Middleware / IIS Administrator with 5–6 years of hands-on expertise in managing and optimising web application environments.This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset to deliver high-quality services in a high expectation environment.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs part of our Infrastructure team in a global IT Program, you will work closely with Application Support and Release Management teams to monitor and troubleshoot Production instances, contribute to changes implementation as per established standards, and participate to major incident technical bridges.The technical stack encompasses C# / .NET web applications, IIS administration, Windows and Linux OS, MS SQL databases, VM and container management.Beyond routine tasks, your creativity and proficiency in scripting (Powershell and other languages) will be appreciated to contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.A strong customer-service mindset, excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain IIS 10 web servers supporting .NET applications.Configure bindings, manage websites, backups, and configuration versions.Troubleshoot application pools, virtual directories, and worker processes.Implement SSL certificates, authentication, access controls, and security best practices.Diagnose and resolve IIS, ASP.NET, deployment, and performance issues.Utilise Azure monitoring tools for performance and health tracking.Manage deployments using tools such as Octopus Deploy.Automate operational tasks with PowerShell and other scripting languages.Provide support for MS SQL Server and coordinate with DBAs for issue resolution.Perform Windows Server ********* administration and troubleshooting.Apply ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem); ITIL Foundation certification preferred.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.Implement containerized solutions using Docker and manage environments with Docker Compose.Work with orchestration and configuration tools (Jenkins, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes).QualificationsDesired Technical StackScripting: PowerShell, Python, BashDatabase: MS SQLTicketing Tools: JIRA, ServiceNowCI/CD & Deployment Tools: Octopus DeployAdditional InformationWorking hours:Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 Hybrid Work#J-*****-Ljbffr
