OverviewSenior AI Engineer • Full-Time • Remote from Latin America • Required Overlap: 9AM - 3PM PST (6 hours)About the RoleEkLine is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development and optimization of AI-powered features for our documentation platform.You will design and deploy AI agents, fine-tune large language models (LLMs), and build ML-driven tools for content quality scoring, style enforcement, and workflow automation.This is a high-impact role where your work will directly shape the product, improve customer outcomes, and influence the company\'s AI/ML roadmap.Success indicators for the first 3-6 monthsDeliver production-ready AI agents integrated into the platform.Fine-tune LLMs for at least two major customer use cases.Deploy an ML-based content quality scoring feature used by 80%+ of customers.Establish initial AI/ML engineering best practices for the team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of AI agents to enhance product features and automation.Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for domain-specific tasks and customer needs.Build and implement ML algorithms for content quality, style enforcement, and workflow optimization.Collaborate with founders to prioritize AI-driven initiatives aligned with business goals.Establish AI/ML engineering standards, tooling, and best practices.RequirementsBachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML development with production-grade deployments.2+ years of hands-on experience building applications using LLMs.Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP).Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of deliverables.English fluency at C1+ level for daily collaboration with the founding team.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Google Cloud AI/ML tools.Background in data pipeline development and data engineering.Familiarity with AI tooling to improve engineering efficiency.Compensation & LogisticsAnnual Salary: $72,******,000 USDEarly-stage equity + performance-based bonuses.Flexible work hours with required 9AM -3PM PST overlap (6 hours).100% remote from Latin America.Company OverviewEkLine is an AI-powered platform that helps product managers, engineers, and technical writers create and maintain high-quality product, user, and API documentation.We deliver tools that accelerate drafting, enforce content quality standards, and streamline documentation workflows.Founded by engineering leaders from Atlassian and LaunchDarkly, EkLine is bootstrapped, profitable, and on a mission to redefine technical writing.Job description created by latamcent.com, a nearshore staffing agency.#J-*****-Ljbffr
