Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Backend Software Engineering Lead to spearhead our data processing pipeline.The ideal candidate will be well-versed in AWS Serverless architecture and Typescript, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies such as Go.You will be responsible for the quality of our data processing pipeline.Creating and reviewing processes that affect speed and cost efficiency.Ensuring all steps in our data pipeline are integrated seamlessly.Optimising the product for continuous scalability.Delivering ongoing process improvement.Collaborating with frontend engineers, CTO and principal software engineer.Meeting aggressive development timelines.Owning complex tasks from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality under pressure.Required Skills and Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is essential.A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in Backend Software Engineering is required.Experience using Typescript for Backend Development is a must.Proficiency in other programming languages like Python, Java, C++ is desirable.Business-level English proficiency is necessary.Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment are essential.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with talented engineers, and drive business growth.If you are a motivated and results-driven individual who thrives in fast-paced environments, we encourage you to apply.
