About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join us in Brasilia, Brazil.
In this role, you will lead sales activities for our government vertical in Brasilia with Public sector accounts and/or federal accounts.
You will manage sales, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement within the assigned territory.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will also develop and maintain relationships with our channel partners and key accounts, while working on selling Red Hat's platform offerings and services under a partnership agreement.
What you will do:
- Successfully sell our offerings and services in an assigned territory or industry vertical
- Meet assigned sales quotas by acquiring new customer accounts and by renewing and growing existing accounts
- Call on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative information, demonstrations, and price quotes for our offerings
- Develop and close sustainable revenues across technologies
- Create accurate sales forecasts and close sales in line with Red Hat's goals
- Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business
What you will bring:
- 8+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success in the software industry with Public Sector, preferably in Brasilia and Federal accounts.
- Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
- Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and desire to make things happen
- Good understanding of customer business and technology offering requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
