You'll join a high-impact team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core services that power our global financial ecosystem.Your work will be instrumental in supporting high-volume, real-time transactions across multiple regions.This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.You will play a key role building payment systems that move money across Latin America in milliseconds.We process XXM transactions monthly.Your code will directly impact millions of users making cross-border payments easier.Requirements: - 10 years of professional experience as a Lead/Backend Engineer.- Strong experience in system architecture and solution design.- Proven experience in the Fintech industry or with payment systems, wallets, or transactional platforms.- Strong Java Skills.- Experience working with Kafka for real-time event processing.- Strong understanding of MySQL Redis, handling serious traffic - Familiarity with AWS infrastructure that never sleeps.- Effective communication skills: concise, clear, and to the point.- Fluent in English (written and spoken B2 or More) Soft Skills That Make You Stand Out - Resilient and adaptable in the face of ambiguity or change.- Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across time zones.- Fast thinker, proactive problem solver, and self-starter.- Able to maintain structure and clarity in unstructured or high-pressure environments.- Passionate about delivering impact through technology and continuous improvement.Job Responsabilities - Design, develop and maintain backend systems, APIs and databases.- Work closely with product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure code quality and performance.- Monitor and improve system reliability.
