OVERVIEWAt Alera Group, our people are our greatest strength—and how we reward, recognize, and support them is central to our success.We're looking for a Compensation Manager who will design and manage our compensation programs, bring fresh ideas to how we approach pay, and help shape the future of our workforce.Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 15th largest broker of U.S. business.We are passionate about our clients' success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services.With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.RESPONSIBILITIESThis is a hands-on role where you'll partner closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure our pay practices are fair, competitive, and aligned with company strategy.If you're energized by analyzing data, building scalable programs, and advising leadership on compensation strategy, we'd love to connect with you.What You'll DoLead with expertise – Guide compensation projects across the company, including job architecture, pay philosophy, and compliance assuranceDrive compensation strategy – Research, analyze, and benchmark pay practices to ensure competitiveness and equity across roles and marketsDesign programs that scale – Oversee annual merit and bonus cycles, creating workflows, automation, and best practices in partnership with HRIS and leadershipModel with insight – Build financial models to assess the impact of compensation structures and align pay decisions with company performance goalsCommunicate with clarity – Prepare reports, presentations, and strategies to influence leaders and support our overall compensation philosophyQUALIFICATIONSWhat We're Looking ForA bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field7+ years of experience in compensation analysis and program design, including sales compensationStrong experience with Human Capital Management systems (Workday a plus)Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiativesBackground in financial services or insurance preferredCCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification a plusA proactive self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills, able to influence and collaborate across the organizationADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis job is fully remote.Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.Salary range is $125K to 160K per year.We\'re an equal opportunity employer.All applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status, or any other protected class.Alera Group is committed to protecting your privacy.Please review our Privacy Policy to understand what personal information we may collect and use as part of your application process.Location: Remote#J-18808-Ljbffr
