We are Bayer.Program Get to KnowThe Leadership Development in Procurement (LDP) Program is designed to cultivate procurement professionals equipped with essential skills to lead meaningful initiatives, drive innovation and shape the future of Bayer's global Procurement organization.
During the 18-month program, you will actively collaborate in international teams gaining knowledge and experience in a wide range of subject areas.Your MissionYour mission will be to achieve learning and development objectives and deliver business results during project-based rotations (each 3 months in duration) across all areas of Procurement.
Each rotation will have defined tasks and deliverables relevant to the function and scope, and rotations can include (but are not limited to):Preparing supplier negotiationsHandling pricing analysis and sourcing processesDriving sustainability initiativesIdentifying spend and cost saving opportunitiesLeveraging AI and innovationFostering collaboration and building strong cross-functional relationships within Bayer Procurement and other business functionsEnhancing understanding of business operations while monitoring progress toward key objectivesEngaging with mentors and building your network to drive professional growthParticipating in an international short-term assignment or extended business trip to gain global exposureRequirementsMust have:You hold a master's degree or PhD in Business Administration, Engineering, or Natural SciencesYou bring initial work experience, such as internships, in Procurement or related fieldsYou are passionate about procurement and committed to driving value across the supply chainYou demonstrate learning agility and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environmentYou show ownership and accountabilityYou excel in building partnerships and collaborating across culturesYou embrace a forward-thinking attitude that leverages digital transformation and analytical skillsYou have excellent communication skills and can present ideas to diverse audiencesYou are fluent in English, written and spokenDomestic and international travel is required (~15%)Nice to have:International experienceYour ApplicationThis is your opportunity to tackle the world's biggest challenges with us: health, food security, and climate action.You have a voice and perspective we want to hear.Be part of something big.
