We have offshore team-building experience and aim to help businesses leverage global talent.About This Role:We're hiring an experienced Data Analyst (SQL-Focused) who can dive deep into raw datasets, transform them into actionable insights, and support critical business decisions.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in SQL development, data analysis, and reporting.
You'll collaborate with various teams to understand data needs, design efficient queries, build reports, and maintain clean and secure data pipelines in a remote, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL queries for reporting and analysisAnalyze large datasets to surface trends, anomalies, and actionable insightsSupport ETL processes and contribute to maintaining clean, validated data flowsBuild and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for business teamsTroubleshoot and resolve data quality or performance issuesCollaborate cross-functionally to understand reporting requirementsDocument data structures, definitions, and processes clearlyUphold data privacy, accuracy, and compliance best practicesStay current with evolving analytics tools and methodologiesSoftware/Platforms/Tools:PostgreSQL and SQL (advanced proficiency)Looker (preferred), Tableau, or Power BI (a plus)ETL tools and pipelinesMS ExcelShopifyGit or version control systemsSlackZoomGoogle WorkspaceProject Management: Monday.com or similarQualifications:At least 35 years of freelance or remote experience in a data-driven roleProven expertise in SQL development and data analysisExperience working with large datasets and performance optimizationStrong analytical thinking and attention to detailEffective communicator with excellent written and verbal EnglishSelf-motivated and comfortable working independentlyFamiliarity with e-commerce, marketing, or SaaS data is a plusExperience building dashboards or automated reports is preferredShift Schedule:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM US PST
