World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for third parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO.WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.This is a remote Contract/Consultant position.Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.RESUMES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH.Essential Functions:Essential FunctionsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statementsReview financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standardsAssist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysesCollaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial informationEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP)Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial reporting processesOther projects and duties as assignedRequirementsRequirements100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skillsExcellent Excel proficiencyBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldSolid understanding of K1 forms2+ years of State and Local Tax (SALT) experience requiredExperience with Sage GL and AP is preferred but not requiredWell-versed in IFRS and/or USGAAP accountingProficient with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferredPositive attitude and willingness to learnProactive approach and strong work ethicExcellent attention to detailBenefitsBenefitsCONTRACT/CONSULTANCY POSITIONPTO AvailableUSD salary100% Work from homeSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at World Business Lenders, LLC by 2x#J-*****-Ljbffr
