OverviewPosition Title: Process Improvement Engineer (Trainee)Location: Guarapari – ESPurpose of the RoleSupport materials engineering activities, contributing to the development, specification, selection, inspection, and application of materials in equipment, structures, and systems used in the oil and gas industry, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with technical standards and client requirements.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the analysis and specification of metallic materials, polymers, ceramics, and composites applied in oil and gas projects.Support studies on corrosion, fatigue, welding, and material behavior in critical environments (subsea, high pressure, and high temperature).Participate in material qualification tests, mechanical, chemical, and non-destructive testing.Monitor manufacturing, coating, welding, and heat treatment processes with suppliers and internal workshops.Support the team in evaluating component failures and preparing technical reports.Contribute to the update of technical specifications, internal standards, and engineering documentation.Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations areas to ensure the correct application of materials.Participate in technical and safety training, developing skills for career progression.QualificationsBachelor's degree in progress or recently completed in Materials Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.Advanced to fluent English.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical properties, corrosion, and welding.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering support software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent – considered a plus).Proactivity and technical curiosity.Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.Analytical thinking and attention to detail.Strong oral and written communication skills.Flexibility to learn in different environments (office, shop floor, field).Health, Safety & EnvironmentYou have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.You will carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations and codes of practice.You must also co-operate with management and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal obligations.Ensure that you follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training the Company provides and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk.EducationUniversity degree in EngineeringSkills & KnowledgeGood computer skills, especially Excel, accounting softwareGood interpersonal skills and commitment to work with deadline-oriented products.Good level of English – intermediate at least.Highly committed to work, willing to work in a team.Coordinate the implementation of plans at a team level.Strong commitment and sensitiveness towards CRC Evans values and principles.Positive attitude towards learning & sharing.Seniorities & EmploymentSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Manufacturing, Engineering, and ProductionIndustries: Oil and Gas and Services for Renewable Energy#J-*****-Ljbffr
