*Please Read*Duration: This is expected to be a 6 to 12 month engagementLocation: Remote in BrazilNotice Period: Cannot be longer than 3 weeksPay: *****/hr to *****/hr USD or R$15,268 to R$16,978 monthlySenior AI Back-End EngineerMust Haves:6+ years of back-end engineering experience using C#/.NET (Core or 6+) in enterprise-level environmentsStrong proficiency with SQL Server including stored procedures, query optimization, and schema design2+ years experience integrating or working alongside AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar LLM-powered automationSolid understanding of API design (REST, minimal APIs, controllers, versioning, authentication)Experience building scalable, maintainable back-end systems with clean architecture, dependency injection, and robust loggingFamiliarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable), including function apps, containers, or CI/CD pipelinesPlusses:Experience implementing AI-powered automations, such as code generation workflows, prompt-engineered utility layers, or LLM-based backend logicFamiliarity with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval pipelinesDay to Day:The AI Back-End Engineer will design, build, and maintain backend services using C#/.NET and SQL Server, contributing to scalable API layers and reliable application infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing SQL queries, integrating AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot into development workflows, and ensuring clean, maintainable code output.
