Design Residential Spaces with UsAt Innova Design Studios, we specialize in creating bespoke residential spaces that balance function and aesthetics.As a founding member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of residential design.This is not your typical architecture role — you'll be part of a small, close-knit founding team where every contribution matters.We're looking for a skilled Architect to join us in crafting innovative designs that bring people joy and enhance their living experience.Key Responsibilities:Create and refine construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents that meet client expectationsDevelop residential building designs that harmonize form and functionCollaborate with clients and builders to turn concepts into realityInterpret and apply relevant Canadian building codes and local zoning requirements (Canada-specific training provided)Work closely with the team to tackle design challenges creatively and efficientlyContribute to a supportive environment where leadership opportunities are available as we scaleWhat You NeedExperience in architecture, planning, or technical design (specific focus on apartment buildings)Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documents and construction plansStrong understanding of building codes and construction practicesCreative thinker who brings fresh ideas and solutions to the tableProven closer who works with urgency and precisionEffective communicator able to articulate complex ideas in EnglishSuccess Metrics:Ramp up on local codes and standards within 6 monthsDeliver high-quality plans and drawings with team guidanceWithin 12 months:Independently lead parts of design projectsConfidently produce client-ready documents and presentationsCareer Growth Opportunities:Lead Architect: owning projects end-to-endHead of Architecture: leading the design function as we expandWhat We Offer:Competitive compensationRemote work flexibilityFounding team opportunity with leadership potentialCreative freedom in shaping residential spaces
