In SOTEC Consulting (Astek group) we are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer based in Brazil to join our client in the banking sector . In this role, you will work closely with Dev Ops and engineering teams located in London and Poland , while also being part of the early foundation of a growing Dev Ops team in Brazil .What You'll Be DoingSupport and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Hub Actions Assist with deployments across multiple environments:Open Shift (Kubernetes) AWS cloud environments Bare-metal servers (low-latency systems) Work with configuration management using Ansible Support Linux/Unix systems , with occasional assistance in Windows-based environments Help with monitoring and observability , including: Dynatrace for application and system monitoring ELK stack for log aggregation and analysis Collaborate with development teams using:Jira and Confluence Git Hub for source control Participate in Kanban-based delivery Learn and use AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Rovo, and Devin Write technical documentation and contribute to improving operational processesCollaborate across time zones, communicating clearly in spoken and written EnglishEssential Skills & Experience (Must Have)English level B2 or higher (spoken and written); you will work daily with international teams Good Linux/Unix fundamentals Ansible : basic to intermediate knowledge Git : understanding of version control workflows Basic coding or scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python , or similar) Strong desire to learn and grow in a Dev Ops environment Ability to work effectively in a distributed, international teamNice to Have (Not Required)Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not mandatory:Jenkins and/or Git Hub Actions Kubernetes or Open Shift AWS or other cloud platforms ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Dynatrace or other monitoring tools Windows system administration Experience in banking, finance, or FX systems Previous experience working in Kanban teams Exposure to AI-assisted development toolsWhat We're Looking ForCurious, proactive , and not afraid to ask questions Comfortable learning from more experienced engineersAble to take ownership of tasks as confidence grows Interested in helping shape and grow a Dev Ops presence in BrazilWhat We OfferHands-on experience with enterprise-scale Dev Ops systems Mentorship from experienced engineers based in Europe Exposure to modern Dev Ops tools and practices Clear path to grow into a mid-level Dev Ops role An international working environment with real business impact The opportunity to help build and influence a new Dev Ops team in Brazil
