Job Description – Senior AEM DeveloperPosition OverviewWe are looking for a Senior AEM Developer to work on the project that manages all the institutional pages of a client's domain in the insurance sector, as well as lead capture forms and product acquisition flows (Insurance, Banking, Services).This professional will work on the end-to-end development and maintenance of AEM solutions—components, templates, integrations, and support for the Java BFF layer—within a modern architecture that integrates AEM, Next.js, Adobe Commerce, and an AWS Serverless middleware (Carbon).Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including components, models, templates, and pages.Implement and maintain the Java BFF layer running on serverless architecture.Create and maintain custom administrative dashboards within AEM CMS.Integrate AEM with multiple corporate APIs, ensuring security, performance, and stability.Collaborate with React / Next.js teams for visual and structural integration (preferred).Work closely with architecture, backend, and middleware teams to ensure technical consistency.Analyze technical impacts and propose improvements for scalability, performance, resilience, and user experience.Provide technical support for Adobe Commerce, Carbon middleware, and AWS serverless integrations.Participate in Agile ceremonies, refinement sessions, and technical discussions.Lead complex technical analyses and mentor less-experienced developers.Technical RequirementsSenior-level experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.x+ :Component, model, template, and page developmentSling Models & OSGiHTL templatingAEM Sites / AEM AuthorStrong expertise in Java, ideally with serverless architecture.Experience with REST API integrations, authentication, security, and data handling.Knowledge of performance tuning and caching strategies for AEM.Experience with CI / CD pipelines and Git / GitFlow.Ability to work within complex architectures (AEM + Middleware + APIs + Front-end).Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS).Preferred Technical CompetenciesKnowledge of React and collaboration with frontend teams.Experience with Next.js (SSR / SSG).Familiarity with Adobe Commerce (Magento) for cart / checkout flows.Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures.Experience with logging, monitoring, distributed tracing.Behavioral CompetenciesStrong analytical capability and autonomy in technical decision-making.Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders.Technical leadership and mentorship skills.Systemic thinking to operate across integrated architectures (AEM + BFF + Middleware + Commerce).Proactivity in problem-solving and risk identification.Organization and discipline in documentation and execution.Skill Set SummaryAEM 6.x+ (components, Sling, OSGi, Sites, dispatcher basics)Java (serverless, REST APIs, architectural patterns)AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, serverless services)Git / GitFlowCorporate API integrationsBasic understanding of React / Next.jsKnowledge of security, monitoring, logging, and performance best practicesOSF Digital is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, where you can bring your whole self to work.Join an inclusive and passionate community of professionals who help bring about digital transformation for businesses around the world.At OSF Digital, we welcome all individuals and do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, or any other protected category in any of the jurisdictions in which we conduct business.#J-*****-Ljbffr
