Job Title: Professional Services Inventory Quality Assurance EngineerJob Type: ContractLocation: RemoteRole OverviewOur client is seeking a Professional Services Inventory Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about solving complex challenges and ensuring the highest standards of software quality.The ideal candidate will work within a team of software experts and architects to deliver the Client Inventory and Service Provisioning Platform—covering path computation, feasibility checks, service fulfillment, provisioning, activation, and network and inventory management.This role requires a hands-on QA engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in building reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions through rigorous testing and automation.Required Qualifications & Experience5+ years of overall experience testing commercial software, including 3+ years in automation and manual testing of network inventory management, service fulfillment, and provisioning software.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design, and automation frameworks.Experience implementing manual and automated end-to-end UI testing using Protractor, Jasmine, and Cucumber.Experience implementing API testing using SoapUI, Postman, or similar tools.Hands-on experience testing under Linux/Unix environments.Proficiency with database querying (SQL) for debugging and data validation.Knowledge of OSS Inventory and Automation domains and telecom technologies such as EDI, EPL, EVPL, SD-WAN, Dark Fiber, OTT, DWDM/OTN, SONET, MPLS, GPON, FTTH, etc.Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker, Vagrant, OpenStack, VMware, KVM, libvirt.Working knowledge of GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, JIRA, TestRail, and TeamCity.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
