Join to apply for the Local Project Coordinator role at Pyxera Global.To Apply: Send a cover letter, resume, three references, and hourly salary requirements in Brazilian Real via e-mail to ****** by Wednesday 21 January, ****.Please write "Campinas Local Project Coordinator" in the subject line of the e-mail.Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.Interviews will place end of January.If selected, Pyxera Global may elect to use the Local Project Coordinator for future similar assignments.OverviewPyxera Global, an NGO with offices around the world, will be managing a skills-based volunteering program in Campinas, Brazil scheduled to take place 8 July – 22 August ****, with in-person dates ***** August, ****.Pyxera Global is looking to hire a part-time Local Project Coordinator currently residing in Campinas to provide project management and logistical support to the selected team of high-level corporate volunteers who will provide pro bono consulting services to local social sector organizations.ResponsibilitiesProject Development & ImplementationIdentify and select potential partner organizations (mostly social enterprises and nonprofits) and help to develop Scope of Works (SOWs) reflecting the specific areas of intervention requested by local host client organizations.Support local partner organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers and ensuring stakeholder meetings are arranged.Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers in advance of their arrival in Campinas.Support corporate volunteers, providing advice and guidance around SOW delivery.Act as the on-the-ground interface between Pyxera Global and partner organizations in Campinas, including regular correspondence with Pyxera Global staff and other stakeholders to assure satisfaction on the part of the corporate volunteers and partner organizations.Participate in meetings with corporate volunteers and with host client organizations, as requested.Prepare financial and final program reports.LogisticsAssist in procuring and negotiating accommodation and transportation in Campinas for corporate volunteers.Coordinate the program launch and closing event(s) for corporate volunteers and host client organizations.Prepare Campinas-related guides and suggestions for project guides.Orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival in Campinas.Manage project travel logistics for corporate volunteers while they are in Campinas.Act as a logistical and informational resource for corporate volunteers and troubleshoot challenges they may face.Monitor and advise on security arrangements for corporate volunteers when they are in Campinas.Other logistical tasks such as restaurant bookings, photography recruitment, etc.Knowledge and Skill RequirementsMust be based in Campinas with in-depth area familiarity.College degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, NGO management, communications, or related field.Knowledge or network of NGOs or social enterprises supporting STEM education, skills-trade training, and/or workforce development.Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.Exceptional writing and communications skills.Ability to conduct Gap and SWOT analysis and to develop consulting Scopes of Work with limited supervision.Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Fluent in English.Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.SalaryThis is a part-time consultant position with an estimated timeline of 5-6 months with an immediate start date and a scoping trip in March with the Program Manager.Pay is based on past experience and the type of work required for this position.The selected local project coordinator will be paid in Brazilian Real of the country in which the work is completed.Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Part-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: Non-profit Organizations#J-*****-Ljbffr
