We're seeking a Logistics Coordinator who excels at delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth through strategic sales and pricing initiatives.
This key role will support the Inside Sales team by prospecting, engaging with clients, and providing accurate quotations to meet their shipping requirements.
Key Responsibilities Sources new sales opportunities through lead follow-up, handles inbound calls and emails, prepares shipment quotations, clarifies questions, and follows up to close deals.
Understands customer needs and requirements to ensure high satisfaction and effective communication.
Researches route options, vendors, freight requirements, and other relevant information to identify cost-efficient solutions for customers and prospects.
Negotiates freight costs with carriers and agents, works on special project quotes, and maintains close relationships with vendors to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Organizes quote requests and internal orders, prioritizes and executes them within required turnaround times.
