OverviewGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.MetaCTO is building next-generation developer tools powered by AI.Our mission is to streamline how technical teams design, build, and validate software—leveraging AI copilots, automation, and modern IDE extensions.We're seeking a Backend Engineer to help build critical infrastructure, developer integrations, and intelligent workflows from the ground up.This is a unique opportunity to work on complex technical challenges at the intersection of AI, automation, and software engineering tools.Role OverviewAs the QA Lead, you will be responsible for defining and executing the QA vision, strategy, and processes across the company.You will lead efforts to establish best practices in quality, build and mentor a team of QA engineers, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams.This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement in automation, testing frameworks, and quality processes.ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the company-wide QA strategy, aligning it with business and engineering goals.Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and metrics to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team (manual and automation engineers).Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to integrate QA into all stages of the software development lifecycle.Select, implement, and maintain QA tools and automation frameworks to scale testing efficiency.Own test planning, execution, and reporting for new features, releases, and regression cycles.Define KPIs and quality metrics to monitor product health and team performance.Drive root cause analysis and continuous feedback loops to prevent recurring issues.Advocate for quality across the company, ensuring it's embedded in culture and practices.RequirementsProven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Engineer in a software development environment.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and modern development practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps).Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).Experience with performance, security, and integration testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to define strategy while remaining hands-on when needed.Nice to HaveExperience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise-level software.Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP environments.Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and production testing practices.ISTQB or other QA/Testing certifications.Why Join UsRemote-first culture with a focus on autonomy and deep technical workTeam lead role: direct influence on architecture and product directionBuild real-world AI automation tools for technical teamsOpportunity to work hands-on with leading AI frameworks and open-source projectsHow to ApplyIf you're passionate about building backend systems, working with AI workflows, and improving the developer experience, we'd love to hear from you.Send your resume or LinkedIn profile along with a brief note on why this opportunity aligns with your skills and interests.#J-18808-Ljbffr
