You will leverage your technical expertise to deliver high-quality code for moderately to highly complex projects.In this role, you will work on our healthcare platform, gaining deep system knowledge and contributing to ourAgile workflow via Azure DevOps. You will begin withautomated testingandpeer reviews, expanding into broader development tasks by months 2–3. Your role will evolve based on your strengths and our needs — all while adhering torigorous coding and security standards.Key Responsibilities1. Product Design & DevelopmentCollaborate with stakeholders to design software solutions aligned with technical and business objectives.Write, optimize, and maintain efficient code, including enhancing existing codebases (opportunities starting around months 3–4).2. Testing & QualityDesign and implement automated End-to-End (E2E) tests (e.g., using Microsoft Playwright) to ensure feature stability — with a strong focus during your first 6–9 months.3. Peer Reviews & Post-Release SupportParticipate in pre-release feature reviews (ongoing).Conduct initial post-release bug ticket analysis (first 90 days), transitioning to broader ownership over time.4. Agile CollaborationActively contribute to2-week sprintsand6-week release cycles(3 sprints per release).Participate in sprint planning, pull requests, releases, and daily stand-ups (3:00 PM CT).5. Communication & CoordinationCollaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members across time zones.QualificationsExperience8 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record on complex projects.Technical SkillsProficiency inC# ASP.NET (.NET 8)for web applications and APIs.Experience with.NET MAUIandBlazor Web Application (.NET 8)for mobile and web development.Familiarity withMicrosoft Azure(Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Storage).Proficient with modern development tools (Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps).Knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity principles.Experience with cloud platforms and Agile methodologies.Soft SkillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.PreferredFamiliarity with healthcare software or Protected Health Information standards (e.g., HIPAA).Experience with pull request reviews and sprint participation.How We WorkAgile Workflow:2-week sprints, 6-week release cycles, daily stand-ups at 3:00 PM CT.Code Standards:Strict adherence to best practices, peer reviews, and security testing (e.g., OWASP, Detectify).Tools:Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Datadog, Microsoft Playwright, and more.Team Culture:Accountability, quality, and excellence in delivery.
