AboutFlatiron is a global remote software development company with engineers located around the world.We unite experts from diverse backgrounds and experiences in a collaborative culture to deliver exceptional products and services for our clients.As a forward-thinking software engineering company, we provide industry-leading solutions to complex problems in both the US and the UK.Operating in a fast-paced, agile environment, we specialize in software consulting for our clients.We offer a stimulating and rewarding environment for our team members.We value innovation, continuous learning, and professional growth, and we strive to create a workplace where everyone can thrive.Join us at Flatiron and be a part of a team that is shaping the future of software development.Job Summary We are looking for a smart, proactive Mobile Developer with strong communication skills to join our team.The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in mobile development, is able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and is comfortable delivering high-quality features in fast-paced Agile environments.Experience with SwiftUI or React Native is mandatory, and Android experience is a strong plus.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build advanced applications for mobile platforms (iOS primarily, Android is a bonus).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.Maintain clean, testable, well-organized code and contribute to automation processes.Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and modern mobile architectures.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development.Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to planning, reviews, and team discussions.Minimum QualificationsMedium-level experience in mobile development (approximately 3–5 years).Proficient in SwiftUI or React Native (at least one is required).Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and Apple/Google platform guidelines.Solid grasp of the full mobile development life cycle.Experience consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAdvanced level of written and oral English proficiency.Preferred QualificationsExperience with UIKit, Combine, CoreData, or Realm.Experience implementing or customizing video playback features (AVPlayer/AVKit or equivalent in React Native).Familiarity with Android development (Kotlin/Java).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.Experience with mobile performance tools and optimization techniques.Experience publishing apps to the App Store or Play Store.Benefits Yearly Office Allowance BudgetMacbook Purchase SupportWellbeing SupportIf you think that you are a good fit for the position, please apply through LinkedIn.Only CVs that are in English will be accepted.Flatiron Software Co has a zero tolerance to discrimination policy.In this regard, during the course of the evaluation of your job application and during all your employment relation, if any, all discriminatory factors such as race, sex, sexual orientation, social gender definitions/roles, colour, national or social background, ethnicity, religion, age, disablement, political opinion or any status that is protected under law shall be totally disregarded.
