GateSource HR is partnering with a confidential client looking for a Principal Process Consultant – Mineral Processing to build and lead a high-impact, customer-facing consulting capability across the Americas. Travel: 1.5–2 weeks per month across the AmericasThe OpportunityThis role is ideal for a senior mineral processing professional who thrives in operating plants—working side-by-side with operators, diagnosing real performance constraints, and delivering practical, decision-grade improvement strategies. You will play a key role in shaping a process-first consulting offering focused on measurable plant performance improvements. Key ResponsibilitiesLead customer discovery to understand flowsheets, KPIs, constraints, and performance gapsDiagnose plant issues through on-site assessments, data analysis, and operator engagementDesign and lead structured sampling and diagnostic campaigns (safe, disciplined, decision-grade)Translate findings into clear, implementable improvement recommendationsFacilitate technical workshops with operators, site leadership, and senior stakeholdersCoordinate internal technical capabilities including testwork programs and engineering studiesProduce high-quality customer-facing technical reports in professional EnglishDemonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure full site complianceRequired Experience & Qualifications10+ years in mineral processing, metallurgy, or plant performance consultingStrong gravimetric circuit expertise (mandatory)Proven track record diagnosing plant issues and delivering performance improvementsExperience leading sampling campaigns and converting data into decisionsWillingness to travel extensively across the AmericasNice-to-Have SkillsMagnetic separation experienceMulti-site operational or consulting backgroundConfidence presenting to senior technical and capital stakeholdersWhy Consider This RoleExposure to multiple sites, commodities, and flowsheetsHands-on, plant-based consulting—not desk-only workOpportunity to build a strong personal reputation as a trusted technical advisorPrincipal Process Consultant • Curitiba, BR#J-*****-Ljbffr
