As a senior full-stack software engineer, you will work on the InComm Product Control team, focusing on creating and enhancing applications with cutting-edge technologies for POS-integrated platforms, automated decision-making at POR terminals, and business intelligence analytic tools.The IPC provides product lifecycle tracking and returns management solutions for retailers and manufacturers.This role is 100% remote with benefits including health insurance coverage, meal vouchers, annual bonuses, and more.Key Responsibilities:Skill Development: Design and implement scalable applications using Java and Spring framework, and front-end frameworks like Vue JS.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze issues, define requirements, and deliver integrated solutions.Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and best practices.Quality Assurance: Create and perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application quality and performance.Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications.Knowledge Sharing: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Technical Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in the Spring ecosystem and JavaScript communities.Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.Programming Experience: 8+ years of experience in developing Java applications with Spring framework and Spring Boot in enterprise environments.Object-Oriented Programming: Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.Database Management: Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling with MS SQL and/or Oracle.Front-End Development: Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Core JavaScript, and proficiency in modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, and/or Vue.Object-Relational Mapping: Strong understanding of object-relational mapping APIs like Hibernate, JPA, and/or myBatis.Microservices: Practical understanding of developing Restful Microservices Services using Spring Boot.Version Control: Proficient in version control, build management, and issue tracking software.Operating Systems: Good working knowledge of Linux/UNIX and/or Windows server.Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies and continuous delivery tools.Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex systems and situations.Problem-Solving: Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and strong decision-making skills.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal interactions.
