About the Opportunity:Join Modirum | Gespi's exciting new venture We are establishing a dedicated development team to adapt our proven, existing technologies for innovative customers in the UAV Defence sector.As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing robust, scalable, and secure system architectures that leverage our core technology while meeting the unique and demanding requirements of the defence industry.You will be instrumental in translating complex requirements into technical blueprints for the development teams.Your Role in the Team:As the Solution Architect, you are crucial for defining the technical foundation of our defence solutions.
You will:Design end-to-end system architectures, ensuring they align with both business needs and the capabilities of our existing technology stack.Analyze technical requirements from the defence sector and propose optimal architectural solutions.
Collaborate closely with the Engineering lead, Product Owner, and development leads (AI, UX, Backend, Hardware) to ensure architectural integrity and feasibility.Document architectural decisions, patterns, and guidelines for the development teams.Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks suitable for defence applications.Identify potential technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.Ensure the designed solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable.Contribute directly to the team's ability to deliver effective and reliable solutions for our defence customers.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Solution Architect or a similar senior technical design role.Deep understanding of software architecture principles, patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven), and best practices.Experience designing complex, distributed systems.Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and data modeling.Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is often beneficial.Good understanding robotics architecture.Bonus Points:Experience designing solutions for Defence, Aerospace, or high-security environments.Management-Solution Experience adapting existing platforms or products for new verticals.Knowledge of specific defence standards or security protocols.Background in software development
