Finance & Business Management - Planning & Analysis AssociateJoin to apply for the Finance & Business Management - Planning & Analysis Associate role at JPMorganChaseAs a Central Planning & Analysis Associate within the Finance & Business Management team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting.Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Measures: Manage key financial measures such as expenses, headcount, and financial modeling, delivering value-added financial reporting and analysis.Month-End Results: Calculate and consolidate month-end results, forecast for the remainder of the year, and budget for future years.Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to understand key drivers of results and provide commentary on changes from prior forecasts/budgets.Reporting: Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting of results and drivers for senior management.Process Improvement: Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.Project Work: Drive global consistency and create synergies across the team through project work.Required QualificationsEducational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical subject.Experience: more than 5 years of relevant experience in the Finance and Planning field.Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.Personal Attributes: Inquisitive, enthusiastic, diligent, and capable of challenging peers.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.Motivation: Highly motivated and able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.Integrity: Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Team Player: Ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of or experience with Alteryx, BI tools, databases, and SQL Querying.Why Join Us?Strategic Impact: Assist with strategic direction and decision-making across finance teams.Leadership Opportunities: Provide leadership across finance teams and interact regularly with Operations and Technology Managers.Collaborative Environment: Work closely with peers across Finance & Business Management to identify risks and opportunities.About UsJ.P.
