Company DescriptionMcFadyen Digital is the leading advisor and implementer of ecommerce marketplace solutions.During 15 years of implementing marketplaces, we've built dozens of platforms that cumulatively generate billions of dollars of GMV.We're honored to have served 10% of the Fortune 500.Over 250 global brands like ABB, AB InBev, ACCO, Albertsons, American Red Cross, American Eagle Outfitters, US Army, US Agriculture Dept, (and many more letters in the alphabet) have entrusted their digital transformations to McFadyen.We operate global offices across the US, Brazil, and India.McFadyen Digital has been a trusted employer for 34 years and believe that people are the most important part of our company.We're proud of our Great Place to Work certification.**Job Description**:McFadyen Digital is looking for a Frontend Technical Lead to work with our amazing global team, and with strong experience leading multiple website constructions.If you believe you have the right skills and challenges don't scare you, we want to talk to you.- Devise complex architectural front-end functional elements- Experience building user interface automation frameworks- Comfortable managing a multitude of projects in multiple releases- Provide technical leadership to our team for end-to-end development and implementation of new solutions- Translate conceptual ideas into engaging visual presentations and design solutions- Create code standards and ensure consistency- Proven ability to excel within a fast-paced development team- Create reusable and clean UI pattern framework that Application Developers can use to plug and play- Team with our Application Developers to bridge the client side with server side code- Provide production support for all implemented changes- Liaise closely with onsite counterparts in order to continue to drive the product forward- Handle customer expectations on challenging projects- Strong commitment to stability, performance, & outstanding user experience**Qualifications**:- Applied experience of UI development principles- Understand the complexities of Rich Internet Applications and device optimal solutions- Strong HTML, JavaScript and CSS experience- Strong React and Node.js experience- Expert in interaction development- High level understating of frameworks like jQuery, Backbone, Handlebars, and Angular- Conceptual and implementation knowledge of MVC framework- Knowledge and integration experience with server side communication using Ajax and JSON-- Content Management Systems and Mobile interface experience is a plus- Good exposure on eCommerce is preferred and strong experience in agile methodology is a plus- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills- Passion for web visitor conversionsAdditional Information**Our Core Values**:Client Focus, Owning the outcome, Adaptability and Collaboration.**Keywords**:frontend, React, Node.js, JavaScript, UI developer, Technical Lead, Frontend Tech Lead, Marketplace, ecommerce, Magento, commercetools, remote, Mirakl.McFadyen Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity / expression, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law, where applicable.
