React Software EngineerLocation:Remote BrazilSalary:NegotiableOverviewWe are seeking aSenior Full Stack Engineerwith strong expertise inJava distributed systems,stream-based processing, andNode.jsbackend development.In this role, you will design, build, and operate high-throughput backend services, integrate with modern cloud platforms, and contribute to business-critical applications.You will also work with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as AWS and GCP.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain distributed backend services usingJavaandNode.jsBuild and optimizemessage-driven architecturesandstreaming data pipelinesusingApache KafkaDevelop scalable, resilientAPIsand backend servicesWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code aligned with industry best practicesDeploy, monitor, and support applications running onKubernetesWork closely with architects and product teams to design system components and integrationsParticipate incode reviews, system design conversations, and operational readiness effortsTroubleshoot production issues across services and infrastructurePrototype new technologies to improve performance, reduce cost, and accelerate engineering velocityQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ yearsof professional software engineering experienceStrong expertise inJavafor backend and distributed systemsHands-on experience withKafka(producers, consumers, partitions, topics, stream processing)Proficiency inNode.jsbackend developmentExperience deploying and managing services onKubernetesFamiliarity withGitHub Actionsfor CI/CDPractical experience withAWS and/or GCPSolid understanding ofsoftware design patterns,system architecture, andmicroservicesExperience withMongoDBandPostgreSQL(schema design, performance tuning, migrations)Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a distributed teamNice to HaveExperience inVOD / Streaming platformsBasic frontend experience withReact(component integration, context management)Exposure toInfrastructure as Codetools (Terraform, Helm)Experience withobservability & monitoringtools (Datadog, New Relic)
