Role Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join a strategic divestiture programme in Brazil.
The role involves supporting the technical separation of SAP systems, developing custom solutions, and ensuring compliance with Brazilian localisation requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient ABAP developments that support the transition to a standalone entity.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.Collaborate with SAP functional teams (SD, MM, FI, HR) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Support data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, and transformation.Ensure compliance with Brazilian tax and legal requirements (e.g. NF-e, ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS).
Optimise performance of ABAP code and troubleshoot technical issues.Participate in system upgrades and transitions (e.g. ECC to S/4HANA).
Document technical designs and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.Work in Agile environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.Support integration with SAP BTP and external systems.
Requisitos:Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, SmartForms, ALV, BAPI, RFC, IDOCs, and Web Dynpro.Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway.Familiarity with Brazilian localisation and tax reporting in SAP.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Preferred Qualifications:SAP ABAP for HANA certification.Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
Experience in divestiture, carve-out, or M&A projects.Basic knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and code review tools.
