Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned software professional to design, build and operate scalable backend services.This role involves leveraging expertise in Java distributed systems and stream-based processing to develop high-performance applications.The ideal candidate will have experience with Nodejs services, CICD pipelines and modern infrastructure tooling including Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, AWS and GCP.Design and implement distributed backend services using Java and NodejsBuildevent-driven architectures and data pipelines using Apache KafkaDevelop scalable, resilient APIs and backend servicesMaintain clean, well-tested code following industry best practicesDeploy, monitor and support applications running on Kubernetes across cloud environmentsCollaborate with architects and product teams to design system components and integrationsParticipate in code reviews, system design discussions and operational readiness effortsTroubleshoot production issues across services and infrastructureExplore new technologies to reduce costs and increase engineering velocity
