We invite an Intermediate Software Engineer with strong backend expertise in and PHP to join our team.
In this role, you'll focus on building and maintaining core systems for our payroll platform, collaborating with other engineers to improve its performance, reliability, and scalability.

3+ years of commercial backend development experience with and PHPHands-on experience with MongoDBPractical experience with AWS and familiarity with cloud best practicesUnderstanding of REST APIs and backend architectureExperience with version control systems (Git)Experience writing unit tests and maintaining code qualityStrong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work in a collaborative environmentExcellent communication and team collaboration skillsUpper-Intermediate English levelProactivity, motivation, autonomy, and accountabilityDesirable:Familiarity with payroll or HR system developmentFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker)Experience collaborating in distributed teams with English-speaking stakeholdersKey Responsibilities And Your ContributionIn this role, you'll help develop and maintain core backend systems for a robust payroll platform, collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality solutions.Build, maintain, and enhance core backend systems using and PHPDesign and implement REST APIs and work with MongoDB databasesWrite high-quality, maintainable code, including unit tests to ensure functionality and reliabilityCollaborate with team members to design features, troubleshoot issues, and solve problemsParticipate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality What's working at Dev.Pro like?
