OverviewTPD is hiring dynamic engineers at all levels.Our Access Design team is seeking a strong engineer to join the team.TPD is ranked as the #5 Best Civil Engineering Firm to Work for in the Nation (and #1 in our size category) and is listed on the Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms.We offer a creative, flexible, supportive and fun environment to grow within our design practice.Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects.Location: Bethlehem, PAResponsibilitiesDuties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToAssisting in outside contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.Capital improvement planning including providing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations and innovative solutions.Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, and traffic and signal operations analysis.Obtaining, analyzing, PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria/procedure HOPs.Assisting in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.Reviewing construction site to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.Serving as on-site project representative.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)EIT, FE, or PE (not required, but preferred)Knowledge of CAD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad)Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlinesKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteValid Driver's LicenseSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesCivil Engineering#J-*****-Ljbffr
