Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing real-time data systems powering a leading investment bank as our customer.Key responsibilities include handling alert and incident management, problem resolution, and system improvements to ensure uptime and performance for global trading and data services.Resolving data quality issues, including root cause analysis, while managing internal and external vendors.Supporting on-call, incident management, problem, and change management processes.Ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis by implementing monitoring tools to detect data issues.Collaborating with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience, enriching the team's capability.L2 Alert Management: Managing alerts requiring knowledge for resolutions, creating/updating resolutions into a knowledge base, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules.Incident Management: Managing the incident lifecycle from identification to resolution, ensuring mitigation of business impact in a production environment.Change Management: Making production changes to ticker plant like mandatory updates, software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams.RequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux System Administration.Experience in Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred).Nice-to-have skills: Experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY (Wombat/Vela), Market Data platforms, AWS ECS, Google Cloud, GitHub/GitLab, and automation pipelines.BenefitsWe offer a modern, dynamic, and future-oriented environment within a top global institution.Flexible working arrangements, continuous learning and certification opportunities, competitive salary and benefits package, long-term career prospects with international exposure.
