Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing commercial-grade software with a focus on maintainability and supportability.The successful candidate will work on scalable cloud-based solutions that significantly impact sustainability and operational efficiency in the retail and commercial fuel industry.Maintain and enhance existing LAMP-based web applications for continued stability and performance.Design and develop modern application components, including front-end features and back-end services.Take technical ownership of features and contribute to functional and technical specifications to align with business objectives.Deliver high-quality product features and updates independently, while proactively seeking guidance when needed.Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.Investigate and resolve defects identified during QA and user acceptance testing cycles.Required Skills and Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.4+ years of full-stack development experience using PHP, Linux (AWS EC2), Apache, and MySQL.Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and deploying containerized applications using AWS ECS (Docker).Solid understanding of Agile development practices, object-oriented programming, and multi-tiered software architectures.Proven ability to work independently while recognizing when to collaborate or seek guidance to meet deadlines and maintain high quality.
