Mobile Software EngineerWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing high-quality mobile software that thrills client users.The position demands a candidate with extensive experience in developing Android mobile native applications in Kotlin and a solid understanding of the full Android mobile development life cycle.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles and best practices is also essential.Our ideal candidate will have:6+ years of working experience in software engineeringExperience developing native Android applications on Android 9.0 API level 28 and aboveExperience with at least one of these design architectures: MVVM, Clean ArchitectureExpert in UI layouts and creating adaptive layouts for various hardware configurationsExperience writing custom views and controlsExperience in testing high volume applications: unit test, integration test, E2E TestExperience using external commercial and open source librariesExperience with Git and GitFlowA solid grasp of fundamental algorithms, data structures, and design patternsPreferred skills include experience in animation and graphics, dependency injection framework (e.g. Dagger, Hilt), Scrum/Agile methodologies, Jetpack Navigation, Android performance profiling tools and optimization techniques, Open API standard (Swagger), push notification, and working knowledge of Internationalization.Bonus skills include experience releasing app to the Google Play App Store, Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, and familiarity with Jetpack Compose.As a system member, you will contribute to high-quality mobile app design and architecture, apply software engineering design patterns to develop well-structured, modular, performant application code, serve as a technical mentor in mobile app development, and collaborate with API teams on API design.This is a remote job from Brazil with a B2B contract and payment in USD.
