AI Expert JobAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our core intelligence.This is a hands-on role with real ownership.You'll move fast, experiment, and ship production systems impacting thousands of researchers worldwide.The ideal candidate will have expertise in information retrieval, scalable backend systems, and generative AI.Build semantic search pipelines, graph-based retrieval, and agentic systemsDesign and deploy scalable APIs and services for hundreds of concurrent requestsArchitect, implement, and productionize vector databases and embedding-based retrieval systemsWork on GenAI integrations including react agents, graph agents, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestrationSet up full-stack search engines from scratch handling real-world academic workloadsKey skills include:Strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrievalSkilled in Python for backend development with scalable API and service capabilitiesPast experience deploying systems at scale, including search engines, retrieval pipelines, or embedding modelsAbility to design infrastructure serving hundreds of concurrent requestsExperience setting up and hosting APIs with public access balancing speed, cost, and reliabilityResearch-driven and pragmatic mindset with a focus on measurable outcomesBenefits include significant responsibility and long-term upside.
