Job SummaryWe are seeking a high-performing developer to join our team in developing new tools and processes for our private cloud application.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language;Deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests to improve the software development life cycle (SDLC);Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate in agile software development process; Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform for deploying our private cloud platform worldwide.Essential SkillsBackend developer experience in Python or other languages;Knowledge of Linux essentials, including hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components;Experience working on the command line and with files;Understanding of system security, users/groups, and file permissions for public and private directories;Ability to create and run simple scripts;Interest in working on development and troubleshooting of a highly distributed orchestration platform;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers;Cloud computing concepts knowledge;Experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and with Senior Technical Leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Container technology experience (Docker, Linux Containers, etc.);Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (designing infrastructure involving one or more Kubernetes clusters, configuring, controlling, and monitoring clusters);Experience with Docker;Experience with Helm.Highly Desirable SkillsExperience with Kubernetes App Development;PostgreSQL experience as a developer;RabbitMQ experience as a developer.About Our CompanyWe value diversity and hire professionals based solely on their skills and qualifications.
