Drive ImpactA leading end-to-end development consultancy is seeking experienced Backend Engineers for a Cloudflare project.This role involves designing, building, and maintaining Golang-based microservices powering internal and external billing services.The ideal candidate can ramp up quickly and deliver results from day one.The team works in a modern environment built primarily in Golang, using Kafka, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL at scale.You will be part of a collaborative team with additional developers supporting adjacent projects.The environment promotes mentorship, knowledge sharing, and autonomy.Responsibilities:Design and maintain Golang-based microservices.Develop RESTful APIs interfacing with external financial systems.Work with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across distributed systems.Required Skills:5+ years of professional backend development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Golang.Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservices.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment.Familiarity with event-driven systems.Benefits:Collaborative work environment.Autonomy to take ownership and drive meaningful results.About the Opportunity:This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.If you are passionate about building reliable, scalable, and user-centric systems at global scale, we encourage you to apply.
