*Native/Bilingual English is required for this role (read/written/spoken)Please upload your CV Resume in English.Monthly salary:$4,000 - $5,000 USDOur partner is entering its next phase of growth, expanding their platform and building intelligent systems that transform how banks and credit unions understand and serve their small business customers.They're looking for a Data Engineer to own their data universe, keeping it clean, reliable, and ready to power every part of the business.They will maintain and evolve their data infrastructure, integrate new data sources, and ensure systems stay accurate and up to date.This hands-on role is for someone who loves end to end data engineering, from designing schemas and managing ETL pipelines to sourcing and evaluating new datasets.They will work closely with engineers and data scientists to bring high-quality data into production, enabling new features and insights.They will have broad ownership with real impact from day one.What You'll Do:Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes that keep databases accurate and up to date.Own the structure, quality, and reliability of their core datasets.Source, evaluate, and integrate new public and private data sources, including APIs and bulk datasets.Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deliver clean, well-structured data into their products.Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.Define best practices for data governance, validation, and maintenance.Contribute to the evolution of their data infrastructure and tooling roadmap.What You Bring:Strong experience designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.Deep understanding of relational databases and data modeling (PostgreSQL or similar).Experience ingesting and integrating data from multiple external sources, including APIs.Familiarity with cloud-based data environments.Ability to evaluate new datasets for quality, coverage, and business value.Comfort working in small, fast-moving teams with limited technical oversight.Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.Bonus Points For:Experience with financial data, entity resolution, or business intelligence systems.Familiarity with data orchestration tools.Background in data quality monitoring or data observability frameworks.Fintech or data-heavy SaaS experience.What You'll Get:The opportunity to build and own the data foundation of a high-growth startup.Competitive compensation.Fully remote work model, with the opportunity to occasionally collaborate in-person.Fast-moving, engaging environment with a team that values both ambition and fun.Benefits:A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.The opportunity to make a huge impact in an early-stage company defining a new category in financial technology.Two weeks of paid vacation per year.10 paid days for local holidays.*Please note our partner is only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.
