Mobile Application Development OpportunityAbout the CompanyWe are a global technology company specializing in agile development of products and content that address real-world interests.Our growing ecosystem includes innovative apps like Weather Now, a sleek app that delivers real-time forecasts, and Wave Browser, a powerful way to search the web.We move fast, think big, and build digital experiences that people love.Backed by data and driven by quality.Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to lead the development of mobile applications with a focus on cross-platform initiatives using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose.Key Responsibilities:Architect, develop, and maintain mobile applications leveraging KMP for shared business logic and Compose for modern UI design.Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives, contributing to both Android and iOS codebases when necessary.Analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability.Refactor and revitalize codebases as technology evolves.Lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes.Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, ensuring high-quality user experiences.Requirements:We require a strong background in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin, including:5+ years of experience in Android development.Android Launcher experience is a plus.Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform frameworks.Exposure to or experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) is a plus.What We Offer:We offer a collaborative, fast-paced engineering team environment and excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is required.We value self-starters with entrepreneurial drive and passion for innovation.
