About usHMH is a leading provider of drilling solutions, offering a wide range of products and services that are designed to be the safest and most efficient in the industry.Apart from our expertise in land and offshore operations, we are continuously expanding our knowledge within subsea mining, geothermal, onshore and offshore construction, as well as offshore wind industries.With offices in 16 countries across five continents, HMH maintains a strong global presence.HMH is a frontrunner in developing and providing automation and digital solutions for our drilling customers to support their endeavor to improve efficiency and environmental footprint.Equipped with its brilliant team of engineers, HMH is committed to actively exploring opportunities in other industries.For us, this means new opportunities and challenges that we need creativity and great minds to solve in our efforts to innovate our future.Do you want to join our team?At HMH we value our employees.We offer exciting job opportunities that will give you the opportunity to grow in your role and give you the professional development you deserve.In addition to competitive pay and benefits, you will join a casual and inclusive work environment.Our environment is based on respect and having a good day at work, so you can expect to join a knowledgeable, global team who help each other to succeed.SummaryResponsible for the Process Engineering team, overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of drilling equipment manufacturing, overhaul, and repair processes.Proposed enhancements to products, processes, and procedures to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing operations.The Process Engineering team plays a crucial role in advancing continuous improvement initiatives across workshop processes.Job ResponsibilitiesManage the Process Engineering team, including training, competency matrix, people development plans, departmental budget, and cost management.Develop, review, and maintain work instructions, engineering documentation, and templates for overhauled equipment.Generate workshop routings in the ERP system, providing estimates for hours, resources, tools, and fixtures required for each activity.Responsible for creating manufacturing budgets and quotes to support the ITO/Sales team and participating in design reviews for production feasibility.Monitor KPIs such as cycle time and rework rate.Implement corrective actions as needed.Drive root cause analysis and corrective action for failures or rework scenarios.Recommend and support manufacturing technical solutions aimed at reducing costs and/or processing time, through initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.Perform internal audits and assist with supplier development when necessary.Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the workshops.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or metallurgical (Materials) engineering.Experience: Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Industrial, Overhaul/Repair and/or Services engineering position related to drilling or heavy industrial equipment.Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in EnglishStrong knowledge of machining, welding, coating, NDT, pressure testing, and mechanical disassembly/assembly processes.Familiarity with API, ISO, OEM, and local industry standards.Proficient in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate various projects simultaneously.Collaborative team member with a proven track record of enhancing processes on the shop floor through a hands-on approach.Experience with SAP 4/Hana (ERP Systems) is a plus.LocationMacaé, RJ - Brazil
