Trina Solar is an internationally recognized solar energy company.Our growing global presence includes regional headquarters in Switzerland, US, Japan and China with offices in Madrid, Munich, Milan, the UK, San Jose, Sao Paulo, Miami, Mexico DF, Santiago de Chile, Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai, to provide our customers with timely, reliable service.As Trina Solar continues to expand its capacity, improves its technology and enters new Markets, Trina Solar is looking for talent who is hard/working and passionate about solar energy.From research and development to sales and marketing to manufacturing, operations, and Finance Trina Solar looks for people who thrive in exciting, challenging and dynamic work environments to become a part of our dedicated team of professionals and contribute daily to bringing clean, reliable and cost-effective solar energy solutions to different customers around the globe.Join us and our mission to promote and develop solar energy as a source of clean, renewable energy for all.Title: Commercial Specialist – Utility StorageMain Responsibilities:· Support Sales Managers across the LAC region in the preparation of commercial offers for BESS, especially in large utility-scale tenders.· Coordinate internal alignment with engineering, finance, legal and product teams during proposal development.· Consolidate and maintain LAC sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM updates.· Conduct market scouting for new opportunities and strategic customers (IPP, utilities, EPCs).· Prepare commercial documentation including pricing files, executive summaries and compliance forms.· Track tender requirements and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of complete proposals.· Analyze market trends, competitor strategies and customer needs to shape pricing and value positioning.· Support event participation: tradeshows, roadshows, and commercial workshops with clients.· Create and maintain standardized checklists and project pipelines in order to understand market movements.· Consolidate and prepare Requests for Clarifications (RFCs) to submit to clients during tender stages.· Review and distribute all client documents (RFP/specifications) to the relevant internal teams and follow up.· Manage document version control.· Maintain a repository of historical proposals, pricing benchmarks and lessons learned for future bids.Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or Economics preferred.· 2+ years of experience in commercial, sales support or pre-sales roles in renewables, EPC or related industries.· Familiarity with BESS technology and techno-commercial aspects is a strong plus.· Excellent analytical skills and mastery of Excel / PowerPoint for business cases and pricing models.· Highly organized, capable of coordinating multiple tenders in parallel.· Strong teamwork mindset and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.· Advanced English required;Spanish desirable;
