OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior DBT Developer to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and models using dbt and Snowflake.As a subject matter expert, you will play a key role in creating efficient and scalable data solutions while ensuring compliance with established standards and facilitating knowledge transfer to clients.ResponsibilitiesDesign high-level and detailed architecture for data ingestion, transformation, and presentation layers utilizing dbt and SnowflakeEnsure adherence to Data Marketplace standards, including schema design, naming conventions, and governance protocolsProvide hands-on support for implementing dbt models, Snowflake objects (tables, views, streams, tasks), and orchestration workflowsLeverage best practices from Snowflake Business Office and dbt Cloud usage patternsValidate designs and implementations for compliance with security, performance, and cost optimization standardsConduct training sessions to empower client resources during the build phaseDeliver comprehensive documentation and solution walkthroughs to enable client ownership post-engagementParticipate in sprint reviews and standups to maintain transparency and alignment with project goalsRequirementsDeep expertise and production experience with dbt and Snowflake3+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, and data modelingKnowledge of best practices in data governance, security, and cost optimizationProficiency in designing scalable data architectures and aligning with marketplace standardsStrong communication skills to effectively deliver training and documentation to clientsUpper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)Nice to haveFamiliarity with AlteryxWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedInSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology, Engineering, and Business DevelopmentIndustriesSoftware Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Events ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at EPAM Systems by 2xGet notified about new Senior Software Engineer jobs in Brazil.
