**Requirements**:- Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent Engineering degree;- Effective communication skills both in Portuguese and English;- Broad knowledge and experience in the automotive industry especially within the area of Powertrain;- Leadership experience and competences related to people ´s leading;- Experienced in Product Development of automotive components;- Good knowledge of Simulation tools;- Good knowledge of Product Technical Design;- Good Knowledge of PDM documentation;**Activities**:- At Powertrain Engineering you will contribute to the transformation of Volvo Group, transport industry and society in general;- As Group Manager for Product Design (CAD, GAE) and FEA simulation, you will be responsible to develop solutions based on Functionality, Materials, Manufacturing processes, Computer Aided Design Tools, Data and Virtual Simulations, contributing to deliver complete powertrain solutions (QDCFS - Quality, Delivery, Cost, Features and Sustainability), as contracted on product development initiatives;- As part of Complete Powertrain department, you will work with various departments to identify opportunities and solutions, promoting integration and collaboration across the organization, within and outside Powertrain Engineering;- For Design and Packaging: Developing standards, packaging studies, technical analysis to solve design issues, develop design solutions, design reviews, 3D printing, virtual & augmented reality and training and mentoring;- For Virtual Simulation: Model development and validation, Integration of simulation tools, simulation results analysis and interpretation, reporting;- You will manage two teams, around 15 people, where innovation and Customer focus are solid attributes.It is highly expected that you manage and mentor the team, ensuring tasks will be completed on time and within budget, in parallel with the execution of a strong competence development plan;- Diversity of functions is a trademark of your future team and their stakeholders; Designers, Geometrical Architects and Virtual Simulation Engineers, interacting with Component and Systems Engineers, Application Engineers, Data Engineers, Materials Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Test Engineers, Project Managers and Suppliers;- You will be part of a global community within Design and FEA simulation, with members in all Volvo sites.**Escolaridade Mínima**: Ensino Superior
