Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team.The successful candidate will design, build and maintain scalable microservices using Go-lang, with a focus on cloud-based billing systems.The ideal candidate will have experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, backend microservices, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.A strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, as well as proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, is also required.Required Skills and Qualifications5+ years of professional backend development experienceStrong hands-on experience with Go-lang or proven ability to quickly ramp upExperience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend microservicesSolid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deploymentFamiliarity with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar)Experience working in Unix/Linux environmentsStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesBenefitsYou will be part of a collaborative 6-member team with additional developers supporting from adjacent projects.The environment promotes mentorship, knowledge sharing, and autonomy.You'll have the space to take ownership and drive meaningful results.Nice to Have SkillsExperience integrating with ERP systems (Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, or Netsuite)Familiarity with API standards and tools (Swagger/OpenAPI, OAuth, JWT)Exposure to temporal or similar orchestration toolsKnowledge of distributed systems security best practices and observabilityBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
