This organization is characterized as a co-located & process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs).

The department is a Process driven business model with the following departments : Layup , Infusion, Bonding, Handling & Logistics, Finish & Paint, Root Systems and a central based function within Technical Integration.
The Process teams are distributed around our Manufacturing sites.
The New Blades Process Engineering VP reports to the SVP of Blades Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Create and update documentation to Shopfloor (workers, quality and process teams) within Root System operations.
Updated documentation is always available on the shop floor
Stay true to documentation principles described and an engaged part of getting feedback from shop floors and Root System team on the function / quality of the documentation delivered
Perform in internal quality check of the documentation and internal maturity check of the documentation up against our documented criteria described
Keep stakeholder up to date on documentation lead time
Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability
You will take learning from modern documentation systems and material including process vision, laser systems and other digital enabling systems
Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams and applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final product quality
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar
GB Lean along with courses in technical writing or communication
3 years experience working with similar roles
Experience with creating process flow, establishing and maintaining work instructions paper or digital, validation of own work
Knowledge of Control plans
Focused on optimization and standardization within manufacturing documentation with use of the toolbox also mentioned above
Good communication skills: Ability to simplify complex information
Technical knowledge: Especially important for shop floor documentation, which may involve machinery, production processes, or software systems.
But also ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly language
Attention to detail: Accuracy is critical in documentation that supports operations or compliance
You are interested and willing to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems
You are self-motivated; result-oriented and possess great organizational discipline
You find it exciting and interesting to work with other people in a large organization and can build up an intensive network across cultures and time zones and work with stakeholders
You are customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective and committed to learning
