Should play a key role in shaping the technical direction of projects and is expected to demonstrate deep expertise in system architecture, coding, and software development best practices.
This role requires strong leadership skills, and mentors junior engineers and ensures that the team delivers high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze requirements/ user stories to appropriately support design activitiesPerform all technical aspects of software development for our applications including, developing prototypes and writing new code / API'sFunction as an active member of an agile team through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)Produce software builds from software source codeConduct integration tests as defined in the test specifications, including event logging and reporting of resultsPerform unit and assembly testing of software components including the design, implementation, evaluation ,and execution of unit and assembly test scriptsConduct code reviews and tests of automated build scriptsDebug software components, identifies, fixes and verifies remediation of code defects (own work and the work of others)Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologiesProvides continuous support for ongoing production application availabilityWrite instructions to guide computer operators during production runsWork with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manage a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issuesSpecific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirementsQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related discipline required3-5 years of strong experience with front-end development and ability to understand and implement good UI design.Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design principles including abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism and encapsulationExperience with the full lifecycle of software development including use of version control tools, build management, unit testing, issue tracking software (e.g. SVN, Maven, Microsoft Visual Studio, JIRA)Excellent organizational skills, self-administration, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and effective prioritizationRequired Experience with below technologies:o HTML5o CSS (less, sass)o JavaScripto TypeScripto JSPo Bootstrapo Angular 2 +, Angular Material, AngularCLIo NodeJSAwareness of the following technologies are a plus:o Spring-Web/Spring-MVC or JAX-RSo JAVA 8o Tomcato Container based environments (Docker)o Spring (data, boot, security)o Hibernate, Hibernate/JPAo REST Serviceso Websocketso Gulpo General SQL/Database experience, MS-SQL, Oracleo FlexBoxo Jenkinso JIRA & Confluence• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex systems and situations and troubleshoot issues• Problem solving skills, critical thinking and strong decision-making skills• Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal interactions (ability to foster a cooperative work environment)InComm provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran's status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.
