OverviewAmazon's Fulfillment Centers are the beating heart of the company's logistics network, annually distributing millions of products to our customers worldwide.Within Fulfillment Centers, ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) owns standard work, operations innovation, and process improvement.We work on the inputs that improve quality, productivity, and speed.ACES Ops Brazil is seeking leaders to work in the Process Engineering (PE) team.The PE team is a diverse group of operational leaders driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for the Customer Fulfillment network.This team establishes and executes benchmark operating standards, accelerates technology adoption, and strengthens process knowledge for operational leaders across the FC network.The team uses tools to understand process control and to establish process understanding with the aim of minimizing variation between shifts, buildings, and regions, and collaborates with other ACES teams to define, teach, and translate standard work across the entire Ops network.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate performance metrics to proactively identify process improvement opportunities.Audit, teach, and drive execution to benchmark standards while acting as a catalyst for continuous improvement.Develop and implement detailed standard operating procedures.Partner with operational leaders within the FCs to execute standard work and process improvements driving standardization across the network.Collaborate with other ACES teams to review critical inputs, new training, best practice sharing, and documentation to drive benchmark performance.Work with cross-functional teams such as Engineering and Supply Chain to deploy network-wide initiatives.Utilize Lean Six Sigma (and other) tools to create scalable mechanisms.Travel up to 40% of the time to FCs across the country.A day in the lifeLead the intersection of physical standards and logical processes to pursue variation reduction, optimize standard work to reduce cost, and build mechanisms to drive compliance toward standards.Prioritize efforts within buildings, regions, and country to reduce variation from standards and improve process control and performance.Play a leading role in the launch of new buildings and programs.Demonstrate the ability to insist on the highest standards for process execution, interpret data, and lead through influence to deliver meaningful results in efficiency gains across the country.Team & Company contextAbout The Team: Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) is a team focused on quality control and continuous improvement, monitoring metrics, raising productivity, quality, and speed, and supporting peers with subject matter expertise.We drive adoption of new technology and standards as well as provide training and guidance across the network.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degreeExperience with program or project managementExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience driving process improvementsEnglish AdvancedPreferred QualificationsExperience driving process improvementsMaster's degree or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical or quantitative fieldPMP certificateOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Company - Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda.Job ID: A*******Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement, Distribution, and Supply ChainIndustries: Software Development#J-*****-Ljbffr
