Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular / SQL)We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of software development experience using Angular, Node.js, and SQL experience to develop analytics dashboard web applications for our industry-leading U.S. client. In this role, you will develop new capabilities in the client's core data product to support its e-commerce service.Our client is an industry-leading, unified commerce and logistics provider that enables companies with omnichannel commerce capabilities, spanning product discovery to order fulfillment. The company's software, services, and logistics infrastructure serve many of the world's most popular brands, streamlining cross-channel operations and driving more efficient growth. With over 6,000 customers, our client revolutionizes the world of omnichannel commerceResponsibilitiesBuild solutions to find actionable insights from data and workflow to act on insightsCreate APIs and UIs for a web-based analytics dashboard applicationDeliver high-quality, architecturally sound, extensible codeParticipate in the architecture, coding, and testing of developed systemsAssess requirements, discuss, and debate possible solutionsTroubleshoot to find and fix bugsWrite unit testing (TDD & BDD) and ensure good code coverageRequired ExperienceExcellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)5+ years of professional experience developing software with SQL, Angular, and Node.js OR .NET/C#3+ years of AWS or other cloud platform experienceExperience writing 500+ line analytics SQL queriesExtensive experience with Angular and TypescriptExperience with Node.js, especially the Nest.js frameworkBuilt a data dashboard with dynamic tables and chartsFluent in Agile/ScrumDemonstrated ability to work both independently and with a teamTrack record of building professional, high-quality, and on-time softwareProven delivery experience in a vibrant, dynamic startup environmentDesired ExperienceCI/CD experience with CircleCI, Jenkins, or similar technologiesWriting efficient SQL queries for big-data databases, such as SnowflakeExperience with container-based systems, such as Docker and AWS ECSExperience with serverless computing, such as AWS LambdaFamiliarity with microservices architectures and DevOpsData management and analytics experience with dbt, FiveTran, and LookerExperience with e-commerce data or analytics applicationsAdditional InformationEnjoy a fun, fast-growing entrepreneurial companyBe part of a highly collaborative learning culture, learn and grow togetherKnow your ideas are heard and matterYou get to own your job and be recognized for your contributionsWork with kind, smart, and creative people15 days Paid Time Off (PTO) per year8 US holidays, PTO can be used for your local holidayStart: ASAPAbout VelozientWe are a privately held, nearshore software development company providing outsourced development resources to North American companies.
