Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant , Appian Developer
In this role, you will be a part of the design, development, architecture, implementation, and Support on end-to-end business applications with Appian BPM platform.
Responsibilities
SME / Managerial level support for Appian
Ensuring services are delivered in line with the agreed service level targets.
Provide escalation point and give focus to addressing possible service delivery issues.
Identify and facilitate delivery of service improvements.
Ability to communicate effectively across complex and diverse group of stakeholders .
Should possess significant experience of delivery, operational business/IT support services in a highly integrated multi-application environment.
Ability and flexible to work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones.
Flexible to work in non-standard hours in supporting global production systems.
Develop strong knowledge repository to ensure retention of knowledge and backup structure within the teams.
Actively develop team members and direct reports by providing day to day guidance, feedback and on the job coaching.
Must have experience in troubleshooting issues & provide resolution to the end users under high pressure environments.
Must have experience in Supporting 24x5 mission critical environments.
Raise incident / problem tickets as required .
RCA – support the provision of root cause analysis and associated problem ticket management.
Resolve – provide second-level support for the resolution of incidents / problem tickets, Ensure timely closure of reported issues/tickets .
Change & Release Management – support the relevant phases of the change & release management process, adhering to delivery milestones and timelines ... for example "Break / Fix" testing.
Provide KT to new team members.
Proactive monitoring of batch jobs, transactional errors, dashboards, production reporting schedules, database, and Server health.
Support ad hoc requests from the Business for assistance in discussing / resolving issues not captured under existing Solution, for example knowledge gaps and training.
Provide support during key periods of business activity, such as month, quarter, and year end activities.
Attend, participate , and contribute in 1:1's, team meetings, Goal Plans and d evelopment Activities.
Able to demonstrate the use of problem-solving methodologies .

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Understanding the business requirements and developing technical solutions.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with relevant years of overall experience in support of information technology computer systems and databases.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Development of Appian objects, API and integrations with other internal/external systems
Sound fundamentals in Java, Appian, design patterns, requirement understanding, unit-testing.
Strong knowledge of apian design patterns/Process models and data level integrations
Should possess a strong working experience in Architecture, development, related SDLC processes, excellent API, microservices and database knowledge.
Sound knowledge/experience on PL/SQL, Maria DB to an extent to carry out the necessary Application development and integration work.
Knowledge on Insurance domain would be preferred.
Work on critical Development, Support, and enhancement requests, and ensure the availability, accessibility, and accuracy of the deliverables.
Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment.
Certifications in Appian (minimum L2), Java, Cloud is highly desirable.
Willing to work in Appian application support and willing to work in 24*5 (rotational Shifts) environ ment.
ITIL qualified to foundation level or relevant support experience in an ITIL background.
Experience of first/second level application support.
Experience in the use of ITIL toolsets (Service now, JIRA, BMC Remedy
Ability to drive compliance & process adherenc e.
Experience in Java

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55000 to $68500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
