Join to apply for the Assembler - Transformer role at Myers Emergency & Power Systems.Myers EPS is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Transformer team.This role involves winding transformers using semi-automatic equipment and may include electrical testing.Responsibilities include connecting coils to terminals and assembling power transformers according to drawings and work instructions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWrap insulation around coils and secure with adhesive tape.Drive fiber wedges between coil and core using a mallet.Crimp leads to coil wire and tags to lead wires as per wiring diagrams.Assemble support structures, clamping angles, terminals, tanks, or panels.Braze coil leads to specified tanks or terminal strips.Fabricate coils and assemble components for various transformers following blueprints and instructions.Wind copper wire to form primary and secondary coils.Varnish dip transformers.Stamp part numbers and date codes.Perform hi-pot testing and continuity checks.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, or up to three months of related experience.Ability to read instructions, perform basic math, and operate measuring tools and pallet jacks.Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud environment.This position is full-time, entry-level, and typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.#J-*****-Ljbffr
