we Are hiringPlease find the job description below.If you're interested, I would appreciate it if you could share your updated resume with me.Additionally, let me know a convenient time for us to discuss the details further.Looking forward to your response Role: Senior Data EngineerLocation: Brazil (Remote)Mode: Contract Job Description:We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer – API to design, build, and maintain data-centric APIs and backend services that power enterprise applications and analytics platforms.This role focuses on exposing data through well-designed APIs (GraphQL/REST), working closely with databases, cloud services, and containerized environments.This is a hands-on senior engineering role, ideal for candidates with strong backend, API, and cloud experience rather than traditional ETL-only data engineering.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data-driven APIs using GraphQL and REST Build and optimize backend services that interact with relational and NoSQL databases Design and manage GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and API performance Collaborate with data, product, and application teams to define data access patterns Implement API security, versioning, and governance best practices Deploy and manage services using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Work with cloud services on AWS or OCI to build scalable, reliable systems Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and database performance Participate in architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of software engineering or backend development experience Strong experience with API development (GraphQL and REST) Solid understanding of database design and optimization (SQL & NoSQL) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or OCI) Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Proficiency in at least one backend language: Java (Spring Boot) Python Node.
